Main duties of the job The key responsibilities of the Theatre Practitioner will be to focus on patient centric care, participating in the entire pathways for all patients from pre-admission, surgery, and post-operative management.

These are Caring, Passionate, Togetherness, Listening and Focus, something that all our colleagues are expected to naturally uphold here at CHEC Job description Job responsibilities We are looking for someone who can:Establish a compassionate environment by providing support to patients, friends, and familiesPrepare clinical areas for clinical activities Assist surgeons in the delivery of ophthalmic careAdmission and discharge of patients Participate in departmental auditsPro-active and keen to learn and have a passion to deliver quality careHave effective listening, communication, and interpersonal skillsThrives in a team environment Person Specification Experience Essential To be successful in this role you will need: Previous ophthalmic theatre experience is required.
Evidence of relevant professional development, clinically, preferably evidenced by certification RN with valid NMC Registration / ODP with valid HCPC Registration Up-to-date knowledge in area of practice.
Proficient in the use of a PC, including the use of software and systems.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills Passion for delivering first- rate patient safety and care
