Bank Occupational Therapist

Job summary We are looking to welcome Occupational Therapists to join our team of Bank staff to work across both The Royal Shrewsbury Hosital and The Princess Royal Hospital, Telford to include the following specialty areas: Stroke (hyper acute and acute rehabilitation), Frailty at the front door (ED and AMU), Cardiology, Endocrinology, Care of the Elderly, Short stay, Respiratory, Orthopaedics and Surgery including amputees.
Main duties of the job To assess, diagnose/interpret and manage own caseload of complex patients as an autonomous practitioner in accordance with Professional Code of Conduct and Health and Care Professions Council Regulations.

Person Specification Qualification Essential Degree or Pending qualification in Occupational Therapy HCPC registered or pending HCPC registration Work experience Essential Broad range of student placements or postgraduate experience Desirable Experience working within the NHS acute environment Skills Essential Good written and verbal communication skills Relevant IT Skills
