We welcome applicationsfrom experienced band 6 midwives who are currently regisitered to work in theUK.

Main duties of the job Thereis significant emphasis on multi-disciplinary working and the ability to workas an individual as well as a team member is essential.
You will be responsiblefor the planning, implementation and evaluation of individualised care planswhich ensure delivery of holistic, research based care, prioritisingcommuication, informed consent and relationship building.
You will work closelywith our multi-disciplinary team of professionals.
Some of your daily dutieswill be: Assessing and advising onthe needs of women, birthing people, partners, families, and carers andproviding emotional support during all stages of pregnancy and postnatal care Planning, delivering andevaluating standards of evidence-based midwifery care Identifying and caringfor women with more complex pregnancies Providing interventionsand key messages around Public Health including infant feeding Recognising deteriorationin the in the physical or mental condition of a patient and taking appropriateaction/ escalation and managing emergencies About us If you are being interviewed you must accept an interview slot in the system to continue, even if you have arranged with the managerYou must be able to produce ALL certificates stated essential in the person specification or you will not be able to complete pre-employment checksWe provide hospital services from two acute sites - Darlington Memorial Hospital and University Hospital of North Durham.
