Bank Domiciliary Carer

This role will provide domiciliary support to residents and relatives in their own flat at our Assisted Living facility based in Aylesford, Kent.As part of the individual residents care plan and as and  when required the Carer will attend to the comfort, personal appearance and hygiene of residents including assistance with dressing and undressing, eating and drinking, self-administration of medication, toileting, bathing, combing hair, assisting with dentures and hearing aids. The role will also include the preparation and cooking of food for residents in their flats if required and as detailed in their care plans as well as providing assistance to residents with eating if needed followed by washing and tiding away of crockery. A policy of "promoting independence of residents needs" to be adopted as much as practically possible to ensure residents stay active and independent.
