Job summary We have an exciting opportunity forapart-time Band 7 Physiotherapistto join the Pelvic Health team at University Hospitals Bristol and Weston (UHBW).
The pelvic health team continue to be involved in innovative service development projects, and pride themselves on providing an inclusive, patient centred service.
The post will be based across both Weston General Hospital and Bristol base for this role will be Weston General Hospital.
The post holder will share team lead responsibilities with the other B7 pelvic health team lead and will manage a varied and complex caseload of patients with pelvic health problems.
Main duties of the job There will be opportunity to lead pelvic health groups, participate in research projects and service development.
In service training programmes and staff appraisal systems are in operation to facilitate development and to meet the demands of the post.
You can also access coaching and mentoring to support you in delivering this role.
In collaboration with the MSK pathway lead, other team lead and perinatal pelvic health clinical specialist physiotherapist, the post holder will support delivery of a high quality, evidence-based and responsive service.
The post holder should be aninspiring, innovative and highly specialist pelvic health physiotherapist withadvanced skills in the assessment and treatment of a range of complex patients.
They will be naturally empathetic, demonstrating good communication skills to facilitate close working relationships with both patients and colleagues.
They will need to be creative and flexible to meet the changing needs of the caseload and service.
We are looking for a driven individual who is confident to challenge current practice and ensure that our patients receive up-to-date evidence-based treatments.
