Here'swhat you'll bring to the role:-Recent clinical or ward pharmacy experiencepreferred.-Strong multidisciplinary teamwork experience.-Familiarity with respiratory, surgery, orelderly care specialties (other specialties will also be considered).-Hospital pharmacy experience is a plus, but wealso offer a Band 6-7 development programme for candidates looking to grow.
Main duties of the job -Deliver expert clinical pharmacy services,including prescription reviews, patient counselling, and therapeutic drugmonitoring.-Provide guidance on the safe, effective, andcost-efficient use of medications while ensuring adherence to Trust policiesand professional standards.-Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams todevelop tailored pharmaceutical care plans and optimize patient outcomes.-Participate in departmental audits, policyreviews, and service development projects.-Support the education and training of pharmacyteam members, students, and healthcare professionals through mentoring andformal teaching.-Contribute to continuous improvement byimplementing evidence-based practices and participating in governance meetings.

Person Specification Experience Essential Post-registration Hospital experience.
Desirable Ability to negotiate with doctors and clinicians on issue of patient pharmaceutical care.
Appreciation of Pharmaco-economic considerations.
Qualifications Essential GPhC Registration.
Masters degree in pharmacy or equivalent.
