Job summary To work as an Independent Non-Medical Prescriber in partnership with the service user and act as lead specialist in Non-Medical Prescribing for service users with enduring mental health conditions.Conducting assessments on service users, care co-ordinating, long term casework, purchasing of services and supervision of staff are some of the core activities of the post.
Working collaboratively with other disciplines and other teams in the locality are essential to ensure a comprehensive service is provided to the local population.
As a senior member of the team the post holder will need to demonstrate sound leadership skills and be able to manage high levels of responsibility.
Main duties of the job To manage the clozapine caseload within the teams; to include review of medication and prescribing as necessary.To monitor physical health of our patients.To administer depot medication as required.To supervise band 4 physical health colleagues.
