Main duties of the job As aSCPHN School Nurse, youll take on a rewarding role thats both varied and impactful.
Youll be part of a multi-disciplinary team providing preventative and supportive health care to children, young people, and their families in schools, homes, and community venues.Your key responsibilities will include: Delivering the Healthy Child Programme across all four levels.
Managing and supervising School Staff Nurses and Support Staff, helping them prioritize and organize their caseloads.
Mentoring students and new team members, fostering their development as they grow into their roles.
Working closely with headteachers, healthcare providers, and multi-agency teams to ensure seamless support for school-age children.
