\n Job Overview We are looking for an experienced Band 6 Acute Physiotherapist to join the team at Royal Bournemouth Hospital.
This role involves providing specialized physiotherapy assessments and treatments to older adults in the acute care setting.
You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to support recovery and improve patients' functional independence.
\n Key Responsibilities : \n \n Conduct thorough assessments of older patients to identify physiotherapy needs and develop tailored care plans.
\n Provide rehabilitation and recovery interventions to improve mobility and overall physical function.
\n Collaborate with doctors, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
\n Promote patient independence through education on exercise programs, self-management strategies, and lifestyle modifications.
\n Maintain accurate patient records and participate in team meetings and clinical discussions.
\n \n Requirements : \n \n HCPC registration as a Physiotherapist.
\n Experience working in acute settings, particularly with older adults.
\n Strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to develop individualized treatment plans.
\n Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
\n Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
