Inaddition, the Centres of Spinal and Upper Quadrant, Lower Limb and SpecialistRehabilitation provide the consultant led multidisciplinary management atsecondary care level.The successful postholder will be responsible for providing specialistOccupational Therapy rehabilitation to service personnel with complex clinicalneeds within the Psychological Wellbeing Service.
You will provide full support to the Band 7 Occupational Therapists (OTs), Team Manager andOccupational Therapy Professional Lead Advisor in the provision of acomprehensive, evidence based and professional Occupational Therapy servicewithin clinical area.

Job description Job responsibilities Duties and responsibilities for the role include but arenot limited to:Assessing complex patients with a range of diagnoses, identifying,developing and implementing appropriate specialist rehabilitation programmesbased on clear clinical reasoning, based on highly specialist knowledge andexperience of a range of procedures and conditions underpinned by sound theoryand evidence-based practice.Supporting the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) in the interpretation of assessmentresults and recommendations based on clinical need as part of the largerrehabilitation process.Acting as a resource to the clinical team on patient intervention and management.Demonstrating skill at assessing and interpreting a range of complex factors relating tothe patients condition which will impact on their ability to carry out theiractivities of daily living including their ability to return to work.Please refer to the attachedJob Description and Person Specification for the full list of duties.Selection ProcessThe Ministry ofDefence is committed to providing a safe and healthy working environment forits staff which includes educating them on the benefits of not smoking,protecting them from the harmful effects of second-hand smoke and supportingthose who want to give up smoking.
