Job Overview: We are seeking a motivated and skilled Band 6 Community Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team.
This role involves managing your own caseload, providing meaningful rehabilitation in community settings, and making a positive impact on patients' lives.
The role also offers opportunities to develop skills in triage, rapid response, and managing deteriorating and long-term conditions.
Key Responsibilities: Provide holistic rehabilitation tailored to individual patient needs in community settings.
Manage your own caseload, delegating tasks to therapy assistants and others to optimize outcomes.
Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care.
Develop leadership skills by supporting therapy assistants, students, and peers.
Participate in clinical supervision, peer support, and continuing professional development (CPD).
Contribute to service improvement projects across the trust and wider healthcare partners.
Requirements: Degree in Occupational Therapy and HCPC registration.
Experience working in community healthcare or similar settings.
Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
