Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Band 6 Occupational Therapist with expertise in acute care to join our team at Watford General Hospital.
This role involves working on rotational wards, managing complex discharges, and performing independent cognitive assessments.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct assessments and deliver occupational therapy interventions for patients in acute care.
Manage complex discharges, ensuring safe and efficient patient transitions.
Perform cognitive assessments and develop individualized rehabilitation plans.
Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.
Maintain accurate documentation and uphold best practice standards.
Key Requirements: Recognized qualification in Occupational Therapy.
Proven experience in an acute care setting, with rotational ward experience preferred.
Ability to work independently and handle complex cases.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.
