As an Information Analyst within the Health Informatics Department, you'll get just that.As an Information Analyst, you will play a key role in the provision of an efficient informatics service to the Trust.
You will work to the priorities set by the Informatics Manager and Senior Informatics Manager within the agreed deadlines for regular data processing and internal and external reporting.You'll interrogate large, complex and sensitive datasets and undertake comprehensive analysis in response to both internal and external information requests, and provide interpretation and narrative to ensure the message is understood.If you are an enthusiastic individual with drive and commitment, excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, and a logical thinker with a keen eye for detail, we would love to hear from you.If you would like to know more about the role, please contact Chris Lilley on 07557143279 or email Main duties of the job The primary focus of the role is to interrogate large, complex and sensitive datasets and present the information in a simplified manner.
The output will range from providing information in a simple spreadsheet to presenting data in an interactive dashboard.
This will be achieved using a combination of T-SQL, SQL Server Reporting Services, Power BI and Excel.
Other technologies may be utilised depending on the programme of work.A good understanding of NHS data, flows of information throughout the NHS and current NHS policies and initiatives are essential for this role.
Full training on this will be provided to the successful candidate.Personal qualities required for the role include the ability to work effectively within a team, being confident, highly motivated and able to use own initiative, the ability to resolve problems effectively and have good attention to detail.
