We're looking for an enthusiastic dedicated nurse who is keen to work in our Frailty (SDEC) Same Day Emergency Care.
You will be working in the Frailty Directorate, Medicine Division, at an acute hospital in a care of the elderly setting.
This service is focused on delivering rapid assessment; bespoke care to our elderly patients and provide treatments and provision to prevent prolonged stay in hospital and unnecessary hospital admission.

The post holder will work in the Frailty Same Day Emergency Care Unit based on post holder has the responsibility for managing the triage of patient referrals, timely patient interventions and management of admissions and discharges and prioritising/delegating workload.
The post holder will conduct audits related to the professional development of nursing, monitoring standards of care and acting as an agent for change in achieving a culture that is flexible and responds positively to the demands and future development of the service.
To undertake a key role in the delivery of the unit's privacy and dignity agenda.
The post holder will be working in an unpredictable environment within the clinical area ( violence and aggression and Clinical emergencies).
The service is currently operating on a 5-day service Monday-Friday but successful candidates will be expected to enter into a 7-day rota when the service develops to a 7-day service.
