Let's see where your future will take you, together Job description Job responsibilities Dutiesand responsibilities for the role include but are not limited to:Receiving, appraising and advising on the direct referrals for mental health problems from relevant General Practitioners/ Medical Officers (GP/MO).Providing initial assessment and formulation of the mental health and treatment needs for referred patients, planning, implementing and evaluating care with a high level of autonomy.Delivering up to date, evidence based interventions for mental health problems based on guidance from the National Institute for Clinical Excellence (NICE) and the National Treatment Agency (NTA), which can include individual, group and tele-therapy.Pleaserefer to the attached Job Description and Person Specification for the fulllist of duties.Selection ProcessThe Ministry ofDefence is committed to providing a safe and healthy working environment forits staff which includes educating them on the benefits of not smoking,protecting them from the harmful effects of second-hand smoke and supportingthose who want to give up smoking.

Person Specification Qualifications Essential Registered Mental Health Nurse or graduate level professional with background in mental health; substantial post-qualification training and experience in at least 2 evidence based psychological therapies and accredited or eligible for accreditation from a recognised body (BABCP,BACP, UKCP) OR: Registered Mental Health Nurse with a demonstrable experience working at Band 5 or above.
Experience of working in a Community Mental Health setting.
Demonstrable experience of using NICE recommended Psychological interventions.
OR:Must possess a Post graduate/Graduate certificate in evidence based psychological treatments with demonstrable experience in a community mental health role.
Registered with one the following regulatory bodies: NMC, HCPC.
Memberships and Registrations Essential Registered with one the following regulatory bodies: Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) Registration Details Essential Please provide your membership registration number.

Experience Essential Experience working within adult mental health services.
Experience of working in a Community Mental Health setting.
Desirable Experience in delivering National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) recommended psychological interventions.
Post graduate qualifications in an evidence based psychological therapy.
Have at least 18 months post qualification experience.
