We are currently seeking a Band 5 ACT / MMT Pharmacy Technician to join our team in South Wales.

Key Details:  Location: South Wales Contract Type: Ongoing Contract Start Date: ASAP Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm Pay Rate: £20 - £24 per hour Position: Band 5 ACT / MMT Pharmacy Technician Hospital Experience: Essential Key Responsiblities:  Work as part of the pharmacy team to provide effective dispensing and clinical services, including ACT (Accuracy Checking Technician) and MMT (Monitored Medicine Therapy) support.
Ensure the safe, efficient, and accurate preparation and supply of medicines to patients.
Provide medication advice and support to the healthcare team, ensuring optimal use of medications.
Assist in the management of patient medication therapy, ensuring compliance with protocols and procedures.
Contribute to the pharmacy team's continuous improvement efforts and patient safety initiatives.
Ensure adherence to relevant legislation, policies, and clinical guidelines.
Requirements:  Prior hospital experience is essential.
Must be a GPhC-registered Pharmacy Technician with an ACT qualification.
Strong knowledge of hospital pharmacy services, medication dispensing, and clinical pharmacy practices.
