We are seeking one Band 5 Audiologist and one Band 6/7 Audiologist to cover weekend shifts, starting in mid-December for an initial 3-4 month period.
The Band 5 Audiologist will primarily support basic direct access and ENT work, while the Band 6/7 Audiologist will focus on direct access for unilateral tinnitus patients.
The ideal candidate for the Band 6/7 role will have experience in tinnitus management, ideally having completed a Masters-level module in tinnitus.

Responsibilities : Band 5 Audiologist : The Band 5 role will involve providing audiological assessments and treatments in basic direct access clinics, as well as supporting ENT services.
The role will require the provision of standard audiological tests, including pure tone audiometry, tympanometry, and auditory brainstem response (ABR) testing.
You will assist in the management and care of patients with common hearing disorders and work closely with the ENT team to support patient care.
Band 6/7 Audiologist : The Band 6/7 role will primarily focus on the assessment and management of unilateral tinnitus patients in direct access clinics.
You will perform detailed audiological assessments, including tinnitus pitch matching, masking, and counseling, and work closely with patients to provide personalized management strategies for tinnitus relief.
This role will also involve providing advice and support for patients with hearing-related issues and ensuring high-quality care in a multidisciplinary setting.
Both roles will require close collaboration with other healthcare professionals and a commitment to providing excellent patient care, particularly in a weekend service delivery context.
Qualifications and Experience : Band 5 Audiologist : Degree or equivalent in Audiology or related field HCPC registered Audiologist Experience in basic audiological assessments, including pure tone audiometry, tympanometry, and audiological counseling Ability to work independently in direct access and ENT settings Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team Band 6/7 Audiologist : Degree or equivalent in Audiology, with a Masters module or equivalent experience in tinnitus management (strongly preferred) HCPC registered Audiologist Extensive experience in tinnitus management, including assessments, pitch matching, and counseling Experience working in direct access clinics, providing advanced audiological care Ability to work independently and manage a caseload of complex patients Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, particularly in providing support and advice to patients with hearing and tinnitus-related issues Knowledge of the latest tinnitus management practices and therapies Why work with Pulse?
