Hours to be negotiated at interview , however hours per week is a minimum.You will be well supported, nurtured and offered bespoke training for this role, working within a multidisciplinary team with exposure to new ideas and ways of working.If you have a suitable qualification such as NNEB, Diploma in Childcare and Education (CACHE) or NVQ Child Care Level 3 and are innovative, tenacious, and have a range of experience working with children and their families we'd love to hear from you.A full driving license with access to a vehicle with insurance for business use is essential.

If you already hold an NHS lease, this may be transferrable to LPT.For more information please contact Gill Haines on Tel 07909099265 or Sharon Downing Tel 07826530955 Main duties of the job You will work as an integral part of the clinical team working with children from birth to school age.You will participate in the delivery of The Healthy Child Programme and be expected to work in various community settings including the family homes.You will get involved in delivering universal 10-12 month and year development reviews, so a sound knowledge of child development will be crucial.You will advise parents on a wide range of issues including positive parenting skills, helping parents understand and support their child's behaviour; weaning and nutrition; play and stimulation; speech and language development; sleep management and toilet training; ensuring that advice is evidence based to facilitate school readiness.You will need to be someone who can use your initiative and be attentive to detail.You should be able to work autonomously, but also be part of a team.Your development in this role will be supported through a package of training including healthy growth; breastfeeding; healthy bladder/healthy bowel; hearing awareness; immunisations; minor ailments; Solihull; SEND and safeguarding as well as specific training delivered by colleagues in speech therapy, physiotherapy, dietetics.Please be aware that these roles are always popular so we may close the advert early when we have enough applications.Interviews will be held on Tuesday 7th January 2025 at Charnwood Mill, Barrow upon Soar, LE12 8LR We look forward to hearing from you.
