Main duties of the job Receive, unpack andstore deliveries from suppliers/wholesalers which includes stock rotation ofmedicines not stored in the pharmacy robot and storage procedures of medicinesstored in the pharmacy robot.
Identify anydiscrepancies in stock levels, to investigate and correct as appropriate, underthe direction of the Procurement Manager.
Liaisewith the appropriate nursing staff/ward pharmacist on queries concerningdistribution of stock items requested by wards/departments and clinics.
Assist in thedispensary for periods as needed by the department where labelling anddispensing of pharmaceutical products occurs in accordance with StandardOperating Procedures Processpharmacy orders and invoices in an accurate and timely manner and to work inthe dispensary, labelling and dispensing pharmaceutical products when as neededby the service.

Person Specification Qualifications Essential Minimum NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualifications.
System Knowledge Essential Knowledge of EMIS advantageous.
Experience Desirable Previous hospital experience is desirable but not essential.
