Position: Departmental Production Supervisor Salary: up to £35,000 Reporting To: Bakery Production Manager Work Pattern: Shift: 2pm - 10pm 90% of time spent on production activities, 10% on managerial responsibilities Company Overview : Our client was established in 1978, and are pioneering a organic brand located on the Wiltshire/Berkshire/Hampshire border, 3 miles south of Hungerford.
They produce a range of Organic, Fairtrade, and Free From cereal-based foods.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee the smooth operation of production and packaging equipment.
Allocate and supervise all work activities of the department/plant operating team.
Support bakery production planning, production reports, and stock takes.
Supervise production operatives and deputize for staff when required.
Manage raw material stock control.
Prepare equipment, weigh ingredients, and organize production.
Operate bakery equipment, ovens, and packaging machines.
Ensure products meet data sheet specifications.
Handle production quality and technical paperwork.
Manage bakery operations and relevant documentation.
Liaise with managers to implement and enforce company policies and procedures.
Lead by example and manage team members effectively.
Assist with project implementation and training to improve business efficiencies.
Perform other duties as required.
