\nWhat you'll be doing:
\n\nTo carry out routine work with limited supervision & have an understanding of safety consequences in a high risk environment\nResponsible for leading Test and Commissioning activities of on board electrical systems\nLiaise/Interface with relevant stakeholders to ensure activities are undertaken in a safe & compliant manner\nInstruct & mentor less experienced members of the team within your knowledge & competency \nAbility to research, review & interrogate technical design documentation and drawings and subsequently create test documentation\nKeep full and accurate records of work activities carried out as required by policy, procedure and legislation\nTo represent the company on Contractors Sea Trials and other outworking requirements \nResponsible for delivering assigned activities in line with company policy, procedures and legislation\n\nYour skills and experiences:
\n\nKnowledge of electrical control and instrumentation of system operations, ideally hydraulic, pressurised air and gas, domestic and chilled water\nExperience in commissioning of complex systems power plants, motors and high voltage systems\nWrite and issue Rip Out documentation to process, identifying correct isolations to safety isolate ship systems \nHNC in Electrical Engineering\nKnowledge of test equipment & activities required for specific tests\nUnderstanding of the role and how T&C contributes to the wider business and UK enterprise\nKnowledge of safety controls & procedures in a high risk environment \nAware of Nuclear Site/Authorisation Conditions\nExperience working with Distribution Systems, Fire Protection Systems and Electrical Testing\nKnowledge of Instrumentation Systems including; Electrostatic Discharge, Low Voltage Control, Data Communications, PLCs & Fibre Optics\n\nBenefits:

\nYou will be part of the beginning of a major Dreadnought project which is also one of the biggest and most complex engineering programmes nationally.
You may have the opportunity to travel on factory acceptance tests.
