Backend Software Engineer Leeds - 2x a weekSalary: £35k - £50k D.O.EFruition IT are working with a well-established tech-first business who are embarking on a complete technical transformation.
This client is looking to bring in a Backend Software Engineer to work on a bespoke software platform as part of the business growth.The Backend Software Engineer will be responsible for building a bespoke SaaS product, and creating a low latent high performing connected platform.
You will be working with Terraform as the infrastructure as code, and working with Node JS as the Back End framework, spun up into an AWS platform.What will I be doing?Developing web applications and systems using JavaScript, Node and Typescript.Define and analyse business requirements.Support continuous improvement and integrations to enhance deployment.Collaborate with engineers, architects and tested to develop unit code.Working in an AWS environmentKey requirements:JavaScript development, for at least 3 years.Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as TypeScript and Node.Experience with React (desirable)Understanding of terraform as infrastructure as codeWorking with REST and GraphQL.Agile ways of working (Scrum/Kanban).Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work in a team and to your own initiative.If this role sounds of interest, please apply and someone will be in touch regarding the role.We are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from all suitably qualified persons regardless of their race, sex, disability, religion/belief, sexual orientation, or age.
