Commercial Services Group is recruiting for an Azure Specialist on behalf of Cantium Business Solutions, which is part of Commercial Services Group.
Salary: £62,000 (DOE) Brand: Cantium Business Solutions Location: Kings Hill/Hybrid The Role Cantium are looking for an Azure Specialist to join their thriving team, where you'll serve as the subject matter expert in our Enterprise Services department.
In this role, you'll maximize the benefits of the Azure product suite for our customers while ensuring alignment with best practices.
Reporting to the Head of Enterprise Services, you will support team development by fostering essential skills and knowledge of the latest Azure developments.
The position requires expert-level hands-on experience with Azure services, including Virtual Machines, Azure AD Connect, Azure Virtual Desktop, Blob and Disk Storage and more.
Key Duties Establish and maintain a roadmap of Azure service changes, introductions and retirements.
Work with the appropriate teams and customers to support the actions required.
Identify the skills required within the team to support existing and new Azure functionality and features.
Create and maintain a skills matrix, identifying training plans and paths.
Facilitate knowledge sharing within the team, leading training sessions where required to upskill the wider team(s).
Lead by example and influence others, providing expertise and extensive knowledge in specialist area, support the Enterprise Systems Team Manager ensuring the work of the team is planned and evaluated.
Attend Technical Design Authority meetings and provide input to project designs to ensure future services / changes are aligned with operational services.
Work with the Service Design & Transition function to ensure projects are smoothly transitioned into Operations.
Develop and provide technical solutions based on industry best-practice principles that ensures network and security infrastructure integrity is maintained appropriately at all times.
What we need from you Degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent experience.
Relevant IT industry certifications (e.g., Microsoft AZ-800, AZ-801, AZ-104, ITIL) Proven experience as an Azure lead/in a leadership position, delivering complex technical solutions effectively.
Extensive experience in configuring Azure services, including Virtual Machines, Azure AD Connect, Azure Virtual Desktop, Blob and Disk Storage, and more.
Significant involvement in large-scale, high-impact projects with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of creating high and low-level designs and conveying technical concepts to non-technical audiences & Senior stakeholders.
