Azure Sales Specialist

Supporting a UK-wide network of over 5,000 local, expert technology providers, Giacom makes it really simple for technology resellers and MSPs to access everything they need to create brilliant technology solutions for UK businesses.
This role will form part of the Azure Practice team who are Giacom's subject experts in our Azure product offering.
We form a part of an established and effective team, evangelising the offerings of our leading cloud technology vendor Microsoft.
You'll be providing guidance and expertise to existing and new Giacom partners around how to effectively sell, deploy and manage Azure based solutions for their customers.
The role will act as an overlay to the sales account management team as a specialist resource across a wide variety of queries around Azure and the wider Microsoft offering.
The Azure Practice creates and supports live opportunities, partner enablement, azure reviews, pre-sales activities, training & deployment advice.
A key focus area within this role is to understand our partners plans and support growth through enabling them in all commercial and technical aspects required.
As the Azure Practice, and the wider practice team, continue to grow and evolve, so do the roles we perform.
This enables us to constantly review what we do and assess how we can do it better both individually and as a team to best deliver market leading service to our partners.
What you'll be doing Execute on Azure Go To Market plans, driving sales opportunities, through demonstrations, training and effective ongoing work with our partners.
Supporting our sales team to identify and target new business opportunities.
Provide expert advice and support to existing partners to help grow their Azure customer base.
Accurate pipeline and sales forecasting for live and future Azure opportunities.
Work closely with the sales team to align strategies and ensure cohesive execution.
Understand and evangelise the wide scale offering possible through effective use of Azure resources for our partners.
Provide upskilling assistance to internal teams, partners and customers on certifications and qualifications available from our security vendors.
Working closely with our key contacts at Microsoft to deliver and receive strategy, data and theory to continually improve what we do as a team.
Drive registrations, onboarding and utilisation of a range of Microsoft incentive and funding programmes to best support our partner base.
Qualifications Prior experience in a sales or specialist role within IT, cloud, or Cyber Security.
Azure certifications are desirable.
Other cloud technology certifications will also be advantageous.
Good understanding of the cloud technology market.
Excellent listening, questioning and proactive problem-solving skills.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Strong presentation skills.
Demonstrable knowledge and experience within the IT channel.
A genuine passion for continual learning and share that learning with others.
Full driving license as part of the role is to travel to meet partners.
