In this role, you will leverage your deep understanding of Azure cloud engineering to deliver scalable, resilient solutions.
Emphasizing simplicity, decoupling, testing, and iteration, you will ensure services are both high-performing and easy to deploy.
You will collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams, working on projects across various knowledge areas to build reliable, sustainable services that seamlessly integrate with the broader infrastructure.
Additionally, you will provide expert consultation to ensure applications are configured according to project requirements and align with best practices.
A significant part of your responsibilities will include designing and optimising CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment processes for Azure-hosted applications.
By utilising Azure DevOps, Gitlab, or similar tools, you will streamline software delivery and accelerate the development lifecycle.
You will also leverage your Azure cloud services expertise, including AVD, to architect cost-efficient and high-performing solutions, with a strong focus on resource monitoring, performance optimisation, and ensuring high availability.
The team operates on a hybrid model, getting together weekly to collaborate on problems, discuss future architectures, conduct training, and celebrate each other's successes.
You'll be given extensive training opportunities to learn new skills and sharpen your current ones through a blended approach of in-person learning, online courses both internally and externally, and paired programming in day-to-day activities.
