Please quote Ref: AX1750 Location: HU9, Hull Rate of pay: £11.44 Hours: 21.5 a week Vacancies: 1 Further Information: A female Personal Assistant is required to support a disabled lady in the HU9 area of Hull.
This lady requires support with getting a well-balanced diet, help with personal care, domestic support to keep her home clean and uncluttered, support with shopping, visiting her family, and attending appointments such as medical appointments.
It would be advantageous for the PA to have their own transport if possible.
Applicants must be flexible in their approach to work, like a job that can be demanding but varied, and have a strongly developed sense of social justice in supporting the social inclusion of disabled people in their local communities.
Applicants should also be honest and trustworthy, have a confident nature with the ability to remain calm, be good at communicating, and be able to build good relationships with people, based on trust and respect.
Due to the nature of this role including personal care, the potential employer will be considering female applicants only for this post in accordance with the provisions of the Occupational Requirement (Equality Act 2010, pursuant to Schedule 9 Part 1).
