AWS Developer - Platform Development - 12 months - outside IR35 - Public Sector - Scotland I am looking for an experienced AWS Platform Engineer to work on innovative projects within the public sector in Scotland.
Using your AWS expertise you'll drive the build & development of new solutions for their cloud environment, contributing to the organisation's success.
Responsibilities: Develop and deploy software solutions using PaaS and SaaS.
Engage with a developer community, leveraging platform services.
Create software services tailored for business users.
Work with JavaScript UI frameworks, particularly React.
Implement AWS Serverless and cloud-native architectures.
Utilise CI/CD methodologies and AWS native CI/CD tools.
Define infrastructure and processes through code.
Apply automated testing in AWS environments and build processes.
Introduce new, efficient processes or concepts within AWS.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand needs and deliver value.
Operate within agile frameworks like Scrum and Kanban.
Required Skills and Experience: Background developing and building enterprise scale cloud solutions using AWS technologies Experience of Conainer platforms such as Kubernetes, ECS, Fargate JavaScript / React Front End Development Python, Bash scripting Git, CodeArtifact, OpenSearch Softwared Development Lifce Cycle including Testing Agile development environment, particularly using Scrum / Kanban Experience of working for public sector organisations and/or knowledge of Digital First / GDS Flexibility to work hybrid and provide out of hours support when required Interested?
