Avionics Technician

Job Title: Avionic Technician Location: Luton Start date: ASAP Rate: Umbrella Co - Days £38.00 @ 47.5 hours p/w Inside IR35 Winter programme runs Sept 2024 to May 2025 1 week on lates a month.
1430-2300 lates (1 week) 0700-1700 days (3 weeks) The contract is to cover all aspects of base maintenance including routine work and defect rectification, not just mod work Ideal candidates will have Avionic WIFI modification experience.
They will be to complete the mod on each aircraft moving from one to the next and need to be able to commit to complete the winter programme.
Candidates with a workshop background would be considered as well as those working on aircraft.
Duties: Carrying out maintenance and modifications on Boeing 737 variants and 787s as part of their winter programme.
Daily Activities Carry out modifications of aircraft systems such as installation of new systems and deletion of old systems.
This included fitting new looms and wires into existing looms, terminations and component installation.
Systems testing post rebuild.
Scheduled maintenance tasks Troubleshooting of complex systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components They need to be able to fault find and test.
