Automation Team Lead (Controls Systems) - 6 months+ - Remote/Onsite across Europe We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Automation Team Lead for a large Data Center customer focused on controls and industrial systems.
In this role, you will lead a team of engineers, overseeing the design, implementation, and optimization of automation solutions to enhance our manufacturing and industrial processes.
The Role Lead and mentor a team of automation engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of automation projects, from conception to completion.
Develop and implement control systems for industrial applications, ensuring they meet quality and safety standards.
Conduct regular reviews and audits of automation systems to identify areas for improvement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate automation solutions seamlessly into existing operations.
Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve our automation capabilities.
Your Experience Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Extensive experience in industrial automation and controls, with a strong understanding of PLCs, SCADA, and HMI systems.
Proven leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and drive a team to achieve excellence.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong project management abilities, with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.
Certification in automation (e.g., ISA, Siemens, Rockwell) is a plus.
