About the Position We are seeking an outstanding SENCo to lead the development of Special Education Needs provision at Ryecroft School, a new Options Autism school catering for pupils with Autism and complex needs.
As a key member of our Leadership Team, you will provide strategic direction and operational guidance for the school, particularly in relation to Quality of Education.
Key Responsibilities Develop and implement a comprehensive SEND policy and provision, ensuring that it meets the needs of pupils with SEN Work closely with the Headteacher and therapy team to identify areas for improvement and implement effective strategies Collaborate with staff, parents, and other agencies to ensure that pupils with SEN receive tailored support and high-quality teaching Requirements To succeed in this role, you will need: A proven track record of delivering improved outcomes for pupils with SEN, including those with complex communication needs, autism, and associated learning and emotional needs Experience in a senior leadership role, with a proven ability to influence and inspire teams Excellent management, inter-personal, and organisational skills, with the ability to support teams in working together Benefits As a valued member of our team, you will enjoy a competitive salary of £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including life assurance, pension scheme, and access to a wide range of mental health support services.
