Job Title: SEN Maths Teacher Part Time Location : Torton, Kidderminster Contract Type : Full-time, Permanent Hours : 16 hours per week - 2 days Annual Salary: £12,660.00 - £19,633.60 (FTE £31,650 - £49,084 M1 UPS2) Start Date: January 2025 We are currently seeking an SEN Maths Teacher to join an innovative provider of education in a recently opened ASC/SEMH school for students aged between 5-19 based in Kidderminster.
The role: We are looking for a passionate, inspirational and engaging SEN Teacher to deliver high quality teaching and learning to children and young people with SEMH and other complex or anxiety related needs who may present with challenging behaviours associated with their diagnosis.
Some pupils may have multiple learning difficulties.
Experience in working with pupils with SEMH and/or ASC needs in a mainstream or specialist environment is essential and we are ideally looking for Teachers who are able to teach up to KS4 in Maths Experience : Essential: PGCE, Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent teaching qualification and evidence of in-service training Experience of working in a special school environment and/or in particular with pupils with SEMH or ASC needs or significant SEND, SEMH and/or ASC teaching experience within a mainstream environment Experience of delivering up to GCSE in your subject Desirable: Postgraduate diploma in SEN Experience of successfully delivering a differentiated curriculum to pupils with a wide range of needs Benefits: Life assurance Competitive pension Perkbox - offering high street discounts Employee assistance programme Car lease scheme Fully funded training and qualifications Bike to work scheme Free membership to our Health cash back plan - Claim back money on services such as dental, optical, physio and many more.
