Purpose of the Role LB Group is recruiting for an Audit Senior Manager in our Colchester office.
The Senior Manager role will be client facing, requiring a candidate who can demonstrate an excellent track record in Audit Practice with the ability to manage a team of Auditors.
Accountabilities The Senior Manager role will work closely with other Directors across the Group, responsibilities will include: Managing and planning the execution and completion of audits reporting to the senior leadership team.
Managing a team of Managers and Auditors.
Develop strong client relationships with regular attendance at client meetings.
Completion of own compliance work including running sizable audit client portfolio.
Review of budgets and projections prepared by staff.
Liaise with financial institutions such as Banks, Factoring Companies, etc.
Ensure quality of work and all practice procedures conform with regulations and LB protocols and methodology.
Play a key role in the training of staff and maintaining a high technical level.
Attend external events and represent the business in a professional manner.
Skills / Qualifications The ideal individual will be accomplished in all areas of auditing and possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Delegating and supervising team members on all financial related assignments.
Delivering results and meeting client/Partner/Manager expectations.
Experience in mentoring and training staff.
Excellent organisational and time management.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
