Audit Manager Derby Up to £60k DOE Puro Accountancy are thrilled to be partnering with a leading Accountancy Practice in Derby in their search for an exceptional Audit Manager.
As the business continues to grow, we are seeking a skilled and experienced individual to step into this newly created role and spearhead the development of a dynamic team of auditors.
As the Audit Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving excellence and ensuring the delivery of high-quality audit services to a diverse portfolio of clients.
Your leadership skills will shine as you build, mentor, and guide a team of auditors, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment that promotes growth and success.
You will have the unique opportunity to shape the direction of the team, contribute to strategic decision-making, and enhance the overall effectiveness of the audit department.

Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage a team of auditors, overseeing their work quality and professional development.
Plan and execute complex audit engagements for a range of clients, maintaining a high level of technical expertise.
Collaborate with senior leadership to formulate audit strategies and ensure alignment with business goals.
Cultivate strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and addressing their audit-related needs.
Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and best practices, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement.
Qualifications and Experience: Proven track record in audit, with substantial experience in a managerial or supervisory role.
Recognized accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) is highly desirable.
Strong technical knowledge of auditing standards, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing client needs.
