Audit Assistant

Our client, a Top 50 Accountancy Practice is seeking an Audit and Accounts Junior/ Assistant to join their finance team in their offices in Oxford.

Your main responsibilities will include: Developing and applying your technical knowledge through on the job training and formal qualifications.
Preparing audit working papers.
Attending clients stocktakes and reporting findings.
Assisting more senior members of staff Preparing notes to summarise your findings and recommendations.
Posting the audit clients' trial balances into statutory accounts format and updating disclosures as necessary.
Producing financial accounts in accordance with FRS 102 1A and FRS 105 as well as sole trader and partnership accounts.
Using accounting software to provide accurate reporting Preparing basic corporation tax computations About you: You will have at least 1 years' UK audit and/or accounts practice experience and you will have strong aptitude for IT, specifically excel.
You will have been educated to A-level or higher.
You will have exceptional attention to detail and you will have a willingness to understand and success in a range of professional studies.
