This could be the next step in your career to have the opportunity to shape and improve our current policies and procedures and developing the Audit and Investigations team to be the Centre of Excellence for our Health and Safety and Network Operations in managing and maintaining a highly compliant function!We are currently recruiting for an Audit and Investigation Manageraccountable for the auditing of our network operations in line with internal process and procedure in addition to managing illegal connections and operational compliance of our water network.
You will ensure our illegal connections processes are robust and we are utilizing our time as effectively as possible.Leading a team of 6 Network Connections Auditors across Southern Water's operational geography, your key priorities will be focussing on legal connection process as well as legal connections investigations, keeping our standards and quality as per the requirement of our regulators within the field and maintaining or Health and Safety compliance within the Network Operations.
The split focus of the team will mean prioritization is essential and demonstrating value from our activities is monitored and reported on.
Being a strong communicator, you will be confident in presenting our progress to our senior stakeholders in a logical and coherent manner.
Your experience within audit and compliance will be essential and it will be highly advantageous for you to have an in-depth knowledge of water network, previous experience with Health & Safety or water hygiene auditing and illegal connections investigations.
Exposure to change management with process improvement mindset will be desirable with passion to control and monitor our performances against the standards set out by our regulators.
