The post-holder will participate in both the assessment and rehabilitation of adults with hearing difficulties and should have a thorough understanding of patient management systems and hearing aid technology.
The department provides a comprehensive diagnostic and rehabilitative service to the population of Bradford and surrounding areas as well as supporting ENT clinic both at base within Bradford Royal Infirmary and at out-reach centres.
The department operates extended working hours enabling staff to work a 4 day week.
Main duties of the job The Audiologist will autonomously undertake all routine audiological and rehabilitation procedures, including direct referrals for hearing aids and open access referrals from GPs, within outpatient, community and domiciliary will supervise assistant practitioners and junior members of staff, and assist with the clinical supervision of BSc students.
