Currently, we're seeking an organised and detail-oriented Audio Visual Warehouse Technician to join our team.
Audio Visual Warehouse Technician Role: To work in close cooperation with the Warehouse Senior Team to deliver an overall and seamless operation of all Warehouse dispatch activities.
To assist the Warehouse Senior Team in the continuous development of Warehouse facilities, including storage areas, equipment stocks and related services in order to achieve effective and organised Warehouse operations, whilst ensuring compliance with the Company's Health & Safety obligations.
To prepare all sound, lighting, AV, projection, and staging equipment in order to meet the level of technical service required by the daily operational schedule.
Will ensure the company's Health & Safety obligations are always fulfilled.
Responsibilities including but not limited to: Proactively support the Warehouse Senior Team with all routine warehouse activities as directed.
To proactively solve any technical issues as they arise during prepping of equipment, referring to either the Prep Supervisor or Project Manager as necessary.
To have knowledge of the operational schedule to organise, and if required take over from the Warehouse Senior Team, in the loading and unloading of vehicles.
To assist the team with all routine PAT testing and Rigging inspection requirements, understanding that responsibilities required to carry out the task, ensuring colleagues are maintaining the highest standards of testing.
To carry out any other duties as may be required by the Warehouse Senior Team.
Experience/Qualifications/Training: Demonstrable working knowledge in the operation of audio mixers, lighting control desks and AV equipment to include but not limited to Allen & Heath, d&b, Avolites, Chauvet, ROBE, & Panasonic projectors.
Good literacy, numeracy and technical skills.
An understanding or awareness of relevant Health & Safety requirements is desirable Demonstrable knowledge & experience working with medium sized d&b PA systems, Video distribution systems, and Lighting systems.
An understanding of the installation of firmware updates on equipment.
Knowledge & understanding of at least two areas of Sound, Lighting and Data Projection.
You will be naturally resourceful demonstrating the ability to identify issues and proactively resolve problems.
Will have a keen eye for detail.
Confident working in a team environment to deliver all Warehouse requirements to a high standard.
Good time management skills in order to adapt to continually changing demands and priorities.
A demonstrable understanding of the importance of high-quality customer service (both internal and external) placing the customer at the heart of what we do at Eclipse.
Ability to work well under pressure, able to prioritise most time sensitive tasks.
