For 30 years we've been independently developing and publishing incredible video games at our multiple studios founded by Jason & Chris Kingsley, but Rebellion is more than just games.
We have our own film and mo-cap studio, we create board games, publish books, and through 2000AD, publish comics and graphic novels such as the amazing Judge Dredd.We are searching for two new Audio Designers to join our passionate Audio Team, supporting a variety of thrilling unannounced projects currently in development.As key members of a small, dynamic team, you will play an essential role in producing the audio design output for the company.
You'll be responsible for creating a wide range of sounds including atmospheric ambience, gunfire, character dialogue, and much more, ensuring each sound is immersive and impactful.
We're looking for individuals who are both artistically and technically adept, excelling as collaborative team players while also thriving independently.
With a top-tier arsenal of equipment, facilities, and software at your disposal, you'll have everything you need to bring your sound designs to life.This role is based at our riverside headquarters in Oxford, offering a creative and relaxed atmosphere where teamwork drives our success.

However, we understand that flexibility matters, so we're open to discussing hybrid options based on individual needs.Responsibilities: Create and refine high-quality audio assets for day-to-day design tasks, ensuring they align with the project's vision Implement audio directly into the game engine, ensuring seamless integration Mix and master audio for in-game content, delivering immersive soundscapes tailored to gameplay Edit and polish dialogue to maintain clarity and authenticity across all character interactions Design linear audio for marketing materials, crafting impactful soundtracks and effects for trailers and promotions Attend meetings and maintain up-to-date documentation to track progress and ensure clear communication Requirements Proven experience shipping at least one AAA cross-platform title, actively contributing throughout most of the development cycle.
Expert proficiency in one or more DAWs, such as Ableton, Logic Pro, and preferably Cockos Reaper.
In-depth knowledge of audio design and processing techniques, with hands-on experience using a variety of plugins and tools to achieve professional-grade results.
A passionate gamer with exceptional auditory skills and a keen ear for detail.
