Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable Delivery Driver to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods from our warehouse to various locations in a timely manner.
Responsibilities
- Communicate effectively with the warehouse and management teams to ensure accurate loading of goods
- Driving a Luton van or similar delivering valuable and often delicate Fine Art objects
- Conduct deliveries efficiently and on schedule
- Handle heavy lifting when loading and unloading goods
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the delivery vehicle
Experience/Requirements
- Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is essential
- Proven experience in either the Fine Art or Removals industry would be very beneficial, as well as experience in handling valuable and/or delicate items
- Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record
- Familiarity with local routes and navigation apps
- Comfortable with driving long distances across the UK, with overnight stays sometimes required
- Able to work well as part of a team, and able to form a cohesive partnership with Co-Drivers
- Ability to handle physical work including heavy lifting
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment would be advantageous
- Willingness to assist in other areas of the business (eg.
packing and logistics) when not out on the road
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £27,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
