Job summary The Information Governance department is seeking to recruit an Assurance & IG Administrator to support improvements to our services.
To provide a comprehensive and high - quality administrative support to the corporate Group Digital Services Governance and Assurance function, with particular focus on Information Governance services.
*Please note it is expected that shortlisted candidates will be interviewed 21st January * Main duties of the job To have a good working knowledge o the Freedom of Information (FOI) Act, Data Protection legislation and Information Governance (IG), and ensure their knowledge is in line with latest guidance.

Person Specification Education & Qualifications Essential HND or equivalent level education and training Desirable Professional qualifications such as Information Governance Certificate qualification and/or evidence of considerable information security and Data Protection experience in the NHS.
Experience / Knowledge Essential Experience within a complex organisational environment Experience in providing a robust administrative service Fully competent in the use of MS Office packages: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint Desirable Good understanding of IT security issues relevant to Healthcare Provision of support for meetings including preparation of papers ( agenda / papers) and accurate minute-taking Attributes Essential Good organisational skills and the ability to manage own time and the ability to meet deadlines Sound verbal reasoning skills with the ability to communicate accurately and appropriately with individuals from across the organisational hierarchy Ability to analyse situations / information to identify and resolve a range of problems
