Overview of role Location: Newcastle-under-Lyme Salary : £15.47 per hour plus 20% shift allowance Shifts : Saturday & Sunday 2 x 9.36 hour shifts (5pm start)
As a part-time Class 1 Customer Delivery Driver, it is your responsibility to deliver our products direct to our customers whilst providing a first-class service.
You will complete daily vehicle and auxiliary equipment checks to identify and report any defects and ensure relevant documentation is completed in line with our processes.
A safety-first approach will be at the heart of everything you do ensuring you comply with driving legal requirements, applying SAFED driving techniques and taking a safe and courteous approach whilst driving our vehicles.
The ideal candidate will have experience in Class 1 driving, preferably in a FMCG environment, with a full, clean Class 1 License.
This is a demanding role in a heavily audited and busy factory environment.
A genuine enthusiasm for transport and customer service coupled with a positive attitude is essential.
