Associate/Senior Associate/Legal Director – Edinburgh/Glasgow

We have been instructed on this senior role with our client, a global Law Firm specialising in disputes, insurance, and advisory services.
The firm is recruiting for an additional Lawyer to join its market-leading Insurance Team, based in either its Edinburgh or Glasgow office.The Insurance Team is responsible for handling a range of complex insurance claims covering areas such as employer, public and occupier liability, property damage, motor, healthcare, catastrophic injury, abuse, occupational disease and product liability.
The team is currently seeking an experienced Lawyer ranging from Associate level to Legal Director level with professional indemnity expertise, with experience acting for professionals and insurers in complex and high value claims.
Advocacy experience is desirable as well as previous exposure to the Sheriff Court and Court of Session.Key tasks will include:Addressing both pre-litigation and litigated cases, advocating for early claim resolution and exploring alternative dispute resolution avenues to avoid litigation.Handling complex and high-worth professional indemnity cases.Providing advice on claims and navigating conduct and service complaints.If this position could be of interest to you, please do not hesitate to contact either Cameron or Teddie for an initial and confidential discussion.
