Role Description: We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Product Owner to join our dynamic product team.
You will play a pivotal role in translating customer needs into actionable product requirements and driving the successful delivery of our solutions.
As a Product Owner, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, especially development, to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality products that meet our customers' needs.
You will also be responsible for managing a team of testers.
Key responsibilities: 1 Requirement Management Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and prioritise product requirements.
Define clear and actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.
Communicate effectively with development teams to ensure a shared understanding of requirements.
2 Product Development Work closely with development teams to drive the delivery of product features and enhancements.
Assist in managing the work plan for the development team and ensuring that processes are being followed.
3 Quality Assurance Collaborate with software testers to ensure the delivery of high-quality products.
Provide feedback and support to testers to improve testing processes and outcomes.
4 Product Strategy & Roadmap Ensure that product initiatives and backlog align with the overall product strategy and company objectives.
Collaborate with the rest of the product team to develop and maintain a product roadmap.
5 Cross-functional Collaboration Collaborate with sales, marketing, implementation, and customer support teams to ensure successful product launches and ongoing support.
Foster a collaborative and innovative culture within the product team and across the organisation.
Skills, experience, and attributes : Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
Experience with finance software especially with bank reconciliation/open banking, period end, VAT and balance sheet.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Desirable additional requirements Some experience in a product management or product owner role.
Experience in B2B SaaS settings preferred.
Experience within Edtech.
Accounting qualification.
