Associate Director – Strategic Intelligence, Mena (London)

We are looking for an Associate Director to join G3's MENA team. This is an opportunity for someone looking for a permanent role or a fixed term contract. The fixed term contract will run January 2025 until February 2026.The successful candidate will manage strategic intelligence and complex due diligence projects, predominantly in the MENA region. We are looking for resourceful and self-motivated candidates with experience of working in the business intelligence sector.The RoleThis role would involve:
Management of enhanced due diligence and strategic intelligence projects across the Middle East and North Africa. Particular areas of focus include the Gulf, Iran, Egypt and North Africa.Public domain research and conduct of human source enquiries to support strategic intelligence projects;Draft client ready reports as well as supporting visuals;Briefing of clients and other external and internal stakeholders on existing project work;Briefing of clients on specific countries or sectors of specialisation in MENA;Development of human source network for G3's MENA team;Draft client ready project proposals and assist with wider business development activities.Qualifications & CapabilitiesThe successful candidate will have:
Fluency in English and Arabic;Additional French and Farsi language skills are an advantage;Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English for report drafting and client briefings;A minimum of 3 years' experience in the business intelligence industry;Experience in researching complex matters with knowledge of relevant databases and other relevant sources of information in the public domain;Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects at the same time, and meeting client deadlines;Interpersonal skills that will be essential in client briefings and liaison with other internal and external stakeholders.Expertise in at least one of the MENA countries (Gulf/North Africa countries are an advantage) paired with understanding of commercial and regulatory risks faced by investors in the region would be an advantage;Further InformationStart date: January 2025Location: London-basedPermanent or Fixed Term Contract (January 2025 to February 2026)Salary: competitive, based on experienceFlexible working balance of home and officeStakeholder pension contribution of 5%Private medical insurance including generous terms of cover for both medical hospital, dental and mental health support for you, your partner and children (subject to T&Cs of the policy).Life insurance – 4 x annual salary25 days holiday per year in addition to bank holidaysIf you believe you have the relevant experience, character, and qualifications to be part of the G3 team, please send your CV and a covering letter to  ******
