With our rapid scale we are seeking an Associate Director, Product Management to lead strategic product initiatives based on our CPaaS product line.
The Associate Director, Product Management will be responsible for formulating our product strategy and leading strategic initiatives in the areas of Global SMS Messaging, Security, and Trust.
You will direct the product team's activities, while working closely with Marketing, Sales, and Finance, among others, to fuel customer growth and new customer acquisition.
Responsibilities Lead the product strategy for Global SMS Messaging, Security, and Trust.
Collaborate with customers to define new products, product capabilities, and solutions.
Create business cases that include opportunity, positioning, investment, and strategic fit.
Closely follow industry regulation, trends, and challenges in SMS Messaging.
Write product positioning and requirement documents for the development teams.
Become a trusted advisor to senior leadership in the area of SMS Messaging.
Accountable meeting (and exceeding) business targets such as revenue, pipeline, profitability, and growth.
Key Requirements 8+ years of professional experience in telecommunication or CPaaS companies.
Proven success in bringing SMS-based products and services to market.
Knowledge of networking, mobile infrastructure, firewalls, and telecom technologies.
Basic understanding of the following protocols and their underlying layers or related telecom nodes: SS7 (MTP, SCCP, TCAP and MAP) and SMPP Protocols, SIGTRAN (M2UA, M2PA, M3UA, and SUA), MNP, HLR, and VLR.
Preferred experience in security, fraud, and/or trust products for SMS Messaging.
Strategic/critical thinker who is able to influence and drive product direction across the organization.
Detail-orientation with great organizational skills, comfortable with ambiguity, and ability to distil complex issues into structured frameworks and concrete action plans.
