The Role: As an Associate Director, you'll support the Regional Director of Planning to drive growth and awareness across the region.
This is a senior, client-facing role where you'll lead business development efforts, manage key projects, and collaborate with the wider multidisciplinary team.
You'll work across sectors including Residential, Commercial, and Assets & Estates, with a strong focus on generating opportunities, building relationships, and delivering high-quality outcomes for new and existing clients.
Key Responsibilities: Leading on client engagement, identifying new opportunities, and building lasting relationships.
Driving business development through networking, presentations, and tender submissions.
Managing major projects, ensuring delivery to a high standard.
Negotiating contracts with clients, suppliers, and contractors.
Providing technical leadership and contributing expertise to multidisciplinary teams.
Leading client presentations and preparing detailed reports.
Expanding the company's profile and client base in the Northern region.
What We're Looking For: A proven track record in planning or a related discipline, ideally with experience in business development.
Strong client liaison and relationship-building skills.
Confidence in leading complex, high-value projects.
A deep understanding of the UK planning process and the ability to identify new opportunities.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and networking abilities.
A proactive approach with the ability to inspire and lead teams.
