Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is looking to recruit an ambitious and driven individual to the role of Associate Director of Performance.
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled individual to join the Trust and help improve the service that we provide to our patients.
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Associate Director of Performance will be the specialist lead on performance delivery across the Trust.
As the Trust looks to improve its performance against all metrics this role is key in the creation of realistic trajectories and monitoring the delivery against them.
We are seeking an individual who can demonstrate both a high degree of analytical proficiency as well as interpersonal skills.
You will be able to understand and interpret large data sets, highlighting key areas of future improvements and risk as well as acting as a critical friend to support operational teams.
They will need to have a working knowledge of RTT, Cancer and Urgent Care Standards and maintain a watching brief on any future changes.
Main duties of the job Specialist lead on performance delivery across the Trust.
Responsible for the Trust -wide monitoring of all constitutional standards (Elective, urgent care, diagnostics and cancer).
Responsible for the development of performance trajectories to meet national improvement targets and monitoring performance against them.
Managing the formal reporting of performance to the ICB and NHS England and other external bodies through nationally defined systems, ensuring all data is timely and appropriately quality assured.
Act on behalf of the Chief Operating Officer at system and regional meetings and ensure that all performance related information is provided as required.
Participate in the Tactical On Call Rota as part of the senior leadership team.

Person Specification Training and Qualifications Essential Educated to Post Graduate/Masters level or equivalent level of experience of working at a senior level in the specialist area.
Evidence of personal development at senior management level Desirable Highly specialist knowledge of a range of intervention strategies and improvement topics Experience and knowledge Essential Detailed knowledge of BI, Performance and IG in the NHS.
Desirable Board-level experience in a healthcare organisation Skills and Ability Essential Highly developed leadership skills with the ability to motivate others not necessarily reporting directly to the role.
A positive 'can do' attitude and a positive attitude to change, with innovative and forward thinking approach to identifying solutions.
Desirable Strategic thinker with a high degree of political acumen.
