DescriptionInternational Casualty Broker Position within the Direct and Facultative business unit responsible for retention and servicing of existing global clients and new business development utilising market and internal WTW relationships.
The Role Understand the clients' business and risk transfer needs and look for solutions to deliver those needs through the provision of ongoing serviceUnderstand, apply and where necessary explain the BU policies and proceduresEstablish and maintain active relationships with our clients, retail offices and InsurersProvide technical, industry and subject matter expertise where requiredDraw on expertise within the team and across the Group for clients as requiredLiaise with clients and build strong relationshipsDetermine appropriate solutions, structure, price and placement strategies that meet the clients' needs and deliver profitable business for a range of clientsGrow existing portfolio by identifying new, and/or existing opportunitiesUndertake full servicing of clients from pre to post placementBusiness Development
Responsibility for supporting the drive of the sales process and business area practice activity in relation to winning, retaining and developing profitable new clients.Assist with the development and maintenance of prospects including research, initiation of contact, meetings, responding to RFPs, new business presentations, accurately maintaining CRM database in order to create and convert sales opportunities.Respond quickly and accurately to new business introductionsActively identify opportunities to work with colleagues across the business to capitalise on account penetration and cross selling opportunitiesDevelop and maintain knowledge of relevant products and services offered by WTWNetworking – internally with other BUs, within the sector, and with external specialistsPlacement Management
Work closely and maintain working relationships with key Insurer contacts in the London marketEnsure transparency of agency and other commitments made to carriers and clientsManage compliant processing of contracts/MRC's as per FCA and contract certainty requirementsAssist with loading of data into the relevant WTW systemsCheck policies, market presentations and client documentation as appropriateAssist with and design programme and pricing structures to best meet the client's needs based on knowledge of the client, the insurance market and industry sector propositionLead and deliver the end to end ongoing client service, adhering to standardised policies, procedures and service standardsOperational and Service Delivery
Proactively develop appropriate solutions and proposals for clients to ensure optimum client retention ratesCommunicate effectivelyDevelopment of service plans that define the engagement and timing of engagement with the clientManage KPIs/SLAs to ensure targets are metEnsure adherence to Group policies, procedures and all regulatory requirementsProvide feedback on corrective action required to retain clients or enhance process performance, actively supporting the implementation of any actions that are put in place QualificationsThe Requirements: Established International Liability market profileProven track record of delivering high levels of client serviceSkilled at building effective relationships, at all levels, with clients, prospects, associates, insurers and external specialistsAbility to represent the practice and WTW with integrity and credibilityStrong communication, negotiation and influencing skillsExperience of working with and adhering to processes and systems to support client service deliveryExperienced knowledge of insurance markets globally in order to deal effectively with client and WTW's needsPreferably ACII qualified or working towards the ACII qualificationEqual Opportunity Employer At WTW, we believe difference makes us stronger.
