Job Description I am currently recruiting for an Associate Director of Energy Regulation & Policy for a global consultancy. You will:
Be a specialist in energy networks, leveraging deep insights into Ofgem's RIIO price controls and the broader regulatory landscape to inform client strategies.Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and other advisors across the sector, providing high-level insights and strategic advice that translates complex regulatory findings into actionable recommendations.Identify and develop business cases for new propositions, driving pipeline and future opportunities through proactive engagement with clients and industry stakeholders.Contribute to thought leadership through blogs, presentations, and participation in external events.Advise on high profile and varied projects including regulatory strategy, core elements of regulated price controls, regulatory policy developments, and support for major transactions.The work will include a combination of report drafting, economic (including quantitative) analysis, and engaging with clients. As an Associate Director, you will be expected to manage teams and lead projects from inception through to completion.The Successful Applicant You will have:
Proven experience in the utilities sector, in the industry, at a regulator, or as a consultant with a focus on energy networks.A strategic thinker with the capability to provide fresh insights and innovative solutions to evolving industry challenges. A developed analytical skillset which you are keen to deploy and grow to bring innovative solutions to problems.Experience in presenting to senior clients and excellent written and verbal communication skills.An in-depth understanding of regulatory frameworks for utility companies, micro-economics, or regulatory finance.A highly motivated, ambitious self-starter, willing to take advantage of the opportunities this position offers.What's on Offer £90,000 - £110,000 PA DOE plus car allowance, bonus and benefits.
