You will ensure the CEO is fully supported in their role by assisting with planning and prioritisation, acting on their behalf for delegated matters, supporting them in a range of ad hoc issues raised and nurturing external relationships on behalf of the CEO and the organisation.
Working alongside the executive, you will also work on the Foundation's mission-related work, helping to shape aspects of it by leading on cross-organisation issues and priorities in addition to aspects of organisational strategy.
About you As Associate Director CEO's Office, you will have experience working in a complex organisation with a strong understanding of the importance of good governance and how to ensure good practice in this area.
Experience in line-management of high-performing teams and leading on the planning and performance of complex work programmes are both key for this role.
Drawing on your experience working with Executive teams and Boards (or equivalent), you will be comfortable handling complex and challenging matters sensitively and will be able to operate at a strategic level.
A dynamic leader, someone who can work with complexity to shape the direction of travel, you will be results-oriented, accurate and thorough, with a real passion and energy for getting things done.
A natural listener and collaborator and a role model for diversity and inclusion, you will have the ability to empower managers and teams to promote the Group's values and mission.
